Lem’s work has been translated into more than 40 languages.
What does this mean?

The chart shows how many of Lem’s works have been translated into a given language.

The chart was prepared using the Bibliography of Stanisław Lem’s Works Translations by Wioletta Hajduk-Gawron (Postscriptum no. 1(51), 196-227, 2006) and the Bibliography of Translations (1954-2010) by Danuta Bilikiewicz-Blanc and Jacek Rzeszotnik (eds.), Lem and Translators, Księgarnia Akademicka, Krakow 2010), as well as reports by Polish Radio.

The chart migh be subject to some error due to the dynamics of translations and some simplifications (e.g. the variety of story choices, the multiplicity of translations).

We also present the table on the basis of which the chart was compiled.
